Gn8
updated from 1.7 without issues. Hoping for a lite Bitwig
to be released, without needing to purchase a controller.
(tempting as they may be, offering all those evil gizmos to fiddle with,
when I need to practice the fiddling instead

Hi Renich,
id tried another build with 1.2 Beta 11, but there i couldn´t solve the issue, that for i don´t know which reason, he is unable to copy the icons.
I discovered that they removed the gnome folder inside the data.tar.gz folder so it doesn´t look like
data.tar.gz/usr/local/icons/gnome, instead it looks like data.tar.gz/usr/local/icons
I tiry to modify the script but it wasn´t working..
any suggestions?
cheers

We just renamed the gnome icon-folder to "hicolor" to be not-so-gnome-specific anymore. Not sure why this gives problems with the conversion tools. Hmmmm.
When unpacking the current .deb with dpkg-deb, everything is nice and where its suppposed to be.

Sorry man; been hyperbusy these past months and haven't had the time to attend to this. Furthermore, I still don't have time... ;=S
Sorry. I'll try to help as soon as I get a breather...
