Hi all, I'm happy to say I've finally released my first bank for HIVE.
Elevation is a collection of 85 presets for U-he HIVE, aimed primarily at trance music producers.
The bank takes advantage of HIVE’s three distinct filter models to deliver squelchy resonant sounds, screaming acid sequences, plucks, supersaws, lush pad sounds and more.
HIVE’s fat, analog-like oscillators are put to use to provide 27 foundational bass sounds, 17 of which feature a programmed sequences. Most bass sequences are programmed in octaves so as to be usable in any key.
Also included are individual midi files from the audio demo, royalty free!
You can buy it here http://aiynzahev-sounds.myshopify.com/p ... -elevation

Another fantastic sound set. Instant purchase.
I'd love to hear what you learned about Hive as you made this sound set.

hmm I'd say, be very precise in the envelope settings as there is quite a big difference in a small range.
Get familiar with what the different models sound like (normal, dirty, clean) and make sure of their filter sounds.
Get familiar with everything the distortion module can do, using it in a subtle way can really boost the energy of a sound, and using it in a more obvious way can give the sound a lot of character.
Watch you don't overdo it with the top end, it can get very sharp & bright, so use the EQ and the tone control in the distortion to keep it more balanced.

Your being too modest , how did you get the second osc in the Stratosphere patch to mute alternatively whilst also running the sequencer for osc. These patches are really good congrats.Aiynzahev wrote:hmm I'd say, be very precise in the envelope settings as there is quite a big difference in a small range.

I just spent the day with these sounds and felt the need to post again
. I especially like the pads: they remind me of that 90's era Virus/Juno trance sound. I also like the plucks, several have that "snappy yet floaty" feeling that I love in a pluck. The sounds make great use of velocity and modwheel to add a dynamic feeling to them too. The sounds are also distinct from the ones Aiyn created from the factory content: if you like the AZ* sounds in the factory sounds you're going to like these too.
Just wanted to say nice work once again.

I had the same thought. Reminds me much of some JP-8k or Virus (i guess) trance pads from that time.bmrzycki wrote:I especially like the pads: they remind me of that 90's era Virus/Juno trance sound.

Thank you so much guys! I'm really encouraged when I see how much you all like the sounds. Lots of people have come back to me on these patches with positive feedback. It really means a lot to me when what I'm trying to do resonates with others, makes me want to push myself harder, make sure I deliver for you.

Some of your demo tracks are better than a lot of published trance tracks. I enjoy listening to them even when I don't own the synth. Happily, I do own Hive.Aiynzahev wrote:I'm really encouraged when I see how much you all like the sounds.
