After initially saving a new patch to the user library the GUI freezes and is locked (doesn't react to any mouse movements anymore), it can only be re-activated by closing and re-opening the plugin.

I can't switch to a Beta version now as I am programming a new soundset and I don't assume we are forward compatible.u-he-michael wrote:does that also happen with our latest build, which can be found here?:Sampleconstruct wrote:After initially saving a new patch to the user library the GUI freezes and is locked (doesn't react to any mouse movements anymore), it can only be re-activated by closing and re-opening the plugin.

You should be fine, I reverted to public versions from betas more than once. Stuff just worked. File format doesn't change that often (only when new synthesis features are introduced, I believe). Last change was then in v2.6 when distortion effects were introduced to Zeebs.
(Some brilliant sounds there, btw!)

But “should be fine“ doesn't suffice hereEvilDragon wrote:You should be fine, I reverted to public versions from betas more than once. Stuff just worked.

You can always revert to the public version if you find things not working. But really, I did that quite a few times and patches worked just fine.

ok. Well, it should be no problem. We are hopefully backward and forward compatible
However - i don't want to bring you into any trouble. I think we fixed this issue in the latest revision. Please verify this, when possible.
Cheers,
Michael

I've got the problem with rev 3819 in logic pro 10.2 : it took me 30 '' to show zebra ui ... it's very long...
Is there an update to fix that ?
I haven't got this before 3819 and all was working fine...
Sincerely yours

Very strange, 3819 looking all normal here in LPX 10.2 ...yl0506 wrote:3819 in logic pro 10.2 : it took me 30 '' to show zebra ui
Are you maybe using an alternate skin made by a 3rd party?
Or are you using the default skin?
The new Zebra2 features a preferences pane where you can set the default GUI size it will scale to when it loads. You can set the default size like this:
1) In Zebra2 rev3819, click the new little cogwheel icon in the top right corner.
2) 3 round icons will appear, click the 3rd one that has a wrench and a screwdriver on it to open the preferences.
3) In the "Appearance" section, check that "Default Size" is set to 100% or whatever your preference may be.
This *should* do the trick.
If it doesn't, please tell us more!

Hi #rob,
I'm sorry, but I still have the same problem. I use pokemod crystal or pokemod blue, or original theme, and for the first load of the ui in Logic 10.2 I must wait betwin 26'' and 30'' before it appear. When I close the UI and I open it again, it's the same perhaps with 1 or 2 seconds minus. With Diva, with Ace, with Bazille, it take betwin 1 or 2 seconds to show UI. So I've got the problem only with zebra 2. Is there a place that change with theme ?
Because I notice this strange thing that with the menu in the cogwheel I see a few numbers of theme with no original and with pokemod (and others) but if I click on the eye I see ALL my themes. Is it normal ? Must I delete all my theme (or move it somewhere else) ? Is there another reason ?
I love pokemod and use it all the time...
If I use the v keystroke in logic the UI desappear well and show it again well in less than 1 second. The problem happen when I close the UI. Logic don't show on cpu meters that it take some power but the osx mouse change to rainbow circle... and I must wait 30''. Nevertheless the sound of zebra2 works fine...
If I close logic with Zebra UI open when I launch again logic, I must wait 30'' more that it's window appear... But if I close Zebra UI, logic appear normaly at logic reboot.
Before rev. 3819 I haven't got this problem. All worked fine.
Sorry for my poor english... my french is far better...
I love yours synths... happy if I can help you... Tell me if you want me to try something else.
Sincerely yours
