I also hope for some new information about Sylenth 62 Bit Mac.
I completely understand doing coding like this is far from easy. (tried to learn code and split my brain in half).
All I wish is that he'd give us more information on when the progress. I'd be completely content if he just straight up told us it would take 3 months or so.
I want to buy the synth but it would be rendered useless as I use Pro Tools and 32 bit VSTs just ain't happening, regardless of any of the bridging nonsense I do.

Today!
Although still in beta, the new native 64bit AU and VST versions seem to be stable and ready to release. We decided our customers should no longer have to wait, so it’s available now! This version will work in all 64bit hosts, such as Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and Cubase. No additional bit-bridges such as 32Lives or jBridgeM are required anymore!
Existing customers can download this version via MENU → "Check for updates” in Sylenth1. We are still working on the new Windows version, which will be ready soon!

Awesome news, thanks!!
Seems to be working fine here so far, but will there be more resizing increments available in the future? On my retina macbook 100% is the same as before but 200% is way too big to fit on the screen!

Any way thanks a lot Ruben, the release seems imminent

Hah you gotta be f kidding me.... 2 machine licenses only? We wait this long for 64bit and you're gonna make us activate and de-activate it...
Wow, get ready for a hale of shit...sorry, but 3 or 4 machine licenses is pretty standard, and most developers...say FXpansion are very flexible.
You get to control it, this is unbelievably cheap and short sighted! sighhhhhh....i knew this whole copy protection thing would be a disaster.

AMAZING! Works perfect on Logic pro 9 and Studio one 3. The only thing is I cannot see the VST version in Studio one; only the AU.

Celemony has a 2 machines at a time system too as does Adobe on some of their products.quantize wrote:Hah you gotta be f kidding me.... 2 machine licenses only? We wait this long for 64bit and you're gonna make us activate and de-activate it...

The license you purchase can be used on 2 computers simultaeously, at the same time. You can simply (2-clicks) deactivate you license on one computer if you happen to need to use a third computer at the same time.
In meantime it will be possible to purhcase a license for a 3rd computer if you really need to. A lot of professional studios used 1 license for multiple computers even though a license was bound to a person so it seems fair to us to limit this to 2 computers.
We're happy (some of) you are enjoying the new version.

Tried to install it on the same setup at home (Mavericks 10.9.5, Logic 10.2.0, instead if an iMac it's a desktop). Still validation error. So there is definitely something off.Sim.Sky wrote:works perfectly here with the very same setupdeft_bonz wrote:WHAAAT!!!!

Any way thanks a lot Ruben, the release seems imminentmaybe you can try to repair your disk permissions and then install it again?
Will give now the disk permission repair thingy a try. Heard a lot about it, but never had to use it. I even don't know what it does, nor why I should use it.

I'm getting the same here:
I have two systems. My Macbook pro laptop with Yosemite 10.10.5, LP9.1.8 and LPX 10.2 is fine validating and running Sylenth1 Beta, however, with home mac mini with Mavericks 10.9.5 and LPX X 10.2 I'm getting validation crashing - strange because on that system I also have LP9.1.8 and the Beta works fine using the old logic.
EDIT: Ran the disk repair permissions within Disk Utility on the OSX drive but that didn't resolve the issue.

yeah, its kinda awkward to me too, but helped in many situations where nothing seemed to work nonetheless. though i'm not a it technician, what i believe to know about it is that mac os x relies heavily on permissions. no software (except for the actual os maybe) is "allowed" to just write and/or read all over the hd. the most obvious case would probably be the gate keeper, which asks for your administration password every time you install third party software from the web - by entering your password you basically tell mac os that it's ok for this very software to read and write without great limitations.deft_bonz wrote:Will give now the disk permission repair thingy a try. long story short, in the course of time those disk permissions tend to get broken and the os is then preventing a software to read/write on the hd even though this was possible before. since this reading/writing process is sometimes crucial for the app to work this can cause issues.
it's sometimes annoying, but as i said: repairing the disk permissions helps me in 9 out of ten cases.
i hope it worked for you as well and sorry for the little spamming above

Disc permission repair was no help on the MacPro. So, two different Macs (newer iMac, older MacPro), both with Logic 10.2.0 and Mavericks 10.9.5, fail validation
No need to do the permission repair on the iMac.
Filed a support ticket. I know it's a beta. I'm in no hurry, just reporting back.
