Although still in beta, the new native 64bit AU and VST versions seem to be stable and ready to release. We decided our customers should no longer have to wait, so it’s available now! This version will work in all 64bit hosts, such as Logic Pro X, Ableton Live and Cubase. No additional bit-bridges such as 32Lives or jBridgeM are required anymore!

Existing customers can download this version via MENU → "Check for updates” in Sylenth1. We are still working on the new Windows versions, which will be ready soon!

I posted in the other thread but I think this one is more apt

All is fine using Yosamite/Live 9, update went smooth.

Is it true that you're only allowed to install on 2 machines now? What happens when you change computers in the future?

Also, will the resize function eventually have more increments than 100/200% as 200% is way too big for a 15" MBP retina screen.

New default skin is ace

The 2 machine activation means "at the same time". You can install Sylenth1 on more than 2 computers, but you can activate and use it on 2 computers simultaneously. When you need to switch to a third computer, simply de-activate one. It is just 2 clicks, so nothing to worry about.

As for the resizing, you can click and drag the screen in the right corner.

Aha awesome, I guess that's a good compromise for the activations as personally I'd not use it on more than two machines at once anyway.

And as for the other thing, user error :hihi:

Does this mean we need to be permanently connected to the internet?
How does it know only 2 are activated?

I suspect because there is a server that has a record of your account and probably 2 slots for activations in a table.. and when you clear out one activation by deactivating from the GUI, it clears that row in the table. Therefore, you don't need to be perm connected to the internet, you just need to activate and go. It isn't likely checking your PC but is the other direction and only during activation.

Ah ok, just like Ableton as an example.
Makes sense :tu:

What if the computer "goes kaput" and you cannot deactivate the license?

I know you're asking an official LD rep, however in the meantime if it is anything like every other company I've dealt with that has a similar system, contacting customer support can clear out those activations. It is just another step (hassle) to have to do this, hence the ability to deactivate on your own.

I even had a situation with Melodyne where someone somehow was able to activate with my serial on their PCs.. this filled my second activation. Customer support was able to clear out that activation and return it to me (twice! :o ). I have little doubts the Sylenth activation system is any different.

Same. I've had to ask Ableton for additional Live licenses numerous times and they've always been wonderful.

That's very, very likely. :P
