Hi you may want to check this out (if you have not seen this already) and have a chair ready to sit down before reading it! :o :-o

Add SIR, ALL digital fish phone and TLS_Maximizer to the list and There is no way for Jules to provide such quality FX. And they are all free !

Why don't you buy better effects separatly ?
I have today all the VST effects i need and I would hate to have to pay in T2 for effects i'll never use...
this seems a little silly
so even though you dont know what will be coming with T2 you already assume you will never use them
uuuuum
perhaps we should all just wait and see whats coming instead of deciding now that were not gonna use T2's add ons or features
OK what i said was not very wise...
I only hope he will spend more time in stuffs other developpers cannot do (Tracktion features !) than in FX.

A good solution for Mackie would be to buy voxengo and to provide ALL the voxengo plugs with T2. :D

I know this is kind of off topic. I was going to get a ONIX 1620/ firewire option until i read that the firewire audio taps where pre-insert pre-EQ pre-everything. This has got to be bullshit or the a extremely stupid move on mackies part.

Maybe I'm extremely stupid, but why?

When I'm tracking I want the sound I record to be as untouched as possible. Why would I bother with a dinky mixer strip EQ when I can use a VST plugin that does the job 100x better, and saves it's setting with my projects?

If I ever really wanted, I could always bounce the signal back through mixer to acheive that perfect sound I sculpted on the Mackie EQ, but I just can't see that happening. Same thing with outboard gear/inserts.

But this is really OT, if you want more opinions on it try a post in the hardware forum.
