String to sysex translation

I'm new to JavaScript and scripting but I've bashed through the Codecademy course and got a Lemur template up and running with a bidirectional clip launcher and mixer.

Does anyone know how to get track names out to Lemur's LCD display using MIDI/sysex? I assume this is what's happening in the MCU template but I couldn't work it out.
