Hi,

Here's a new skin for Melda plugins, which tries to enhance readability by finding a balance between minimalism and aesthetic.

MildNight_1.0.zip

A few screenshots:

The skin support all themes variants (buttons, knobs and sliders), feature custom mouse cursors, and the colors can be customized (except the background, which is always gray):

To install it, unzip the file in the MTexturedStyles directory, ie:

C:\ProgramData\MeldaProduction\MTexturedStyles

(I'm not sure if there is an easier way to install themes?)

Very classy design! I like it a lot. The readability is great, except red text over green, and the sonogram view (a key Melda feature!). Some sonogram views display data in black over dark grey, which does not show detail well; colour sonogram views are easily readable only with high amplitude sounds.

Yes, I noticed that too. It depends on the quality of your monitor, and its gamma setting, but even in the best case it's not optimal. I tried with darker backgrounds, but the sonograms and grid never seem to invert their colors; I also tried with lighter grays, but then most colored curves become unreadable.

That's why I intend to create a "Day" variant, with black text on very light gray. I'll post it here when finished.

This is a great looking theme judging by the screenshots but can someone please tell me how to load this into MReverb ? I'll keep poking around but haven't been able to get it to load yet from within the MReverb browser. File is in the location described above......thanks for any help........

Thanks I got it...I had to close/reopen the host for the Style to show up in the list. Wasn't showing before.......
