George, you are here answering everyone, you missed my question i guess?
Sorry Theo, overlooked your question  my apologies
Most synths these days are rich and evolving and complex, some have presets with arps or synced modulation - can bliss be of any use for this or is it only effective like highlife in sampling static sounds?
Yes, as soon as sampling synced to tempo beats instead time is ready ;)

Hey thanks for the info krakengor :) appreciate it.

I didn't think of it that way either George & my conveyed idea may have been a bit confusing in words aswell so its understandable haha.

So I guess my question now turns into (Q) is there a limit to how many parameters can be mapped to 1 macro then ?

thanks

There is no limit imposed by the software.

Also a trick, by inverting min and max positions, you can automate a parameter in reverse... :ud:

I am having issues with large sfz files. Perhaps I missed/forgot if this was already mentioned; if so ignore this point.
Specifically, when loading salamander grand (we should create an alternate thread for sourcing quality sfz and sound files! here's salamander http://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=302813) it doesn't seem to load anymore. This was after using 'reset program' one time because of a edit mistake, now whenever I try to load it, it doesn't load (old program remains loaded and playable) but memory usage maxes out. This is using compatible memory version of FL studio as well.

Another question: when saving project files, bliss's program data seems to be saved in the file. Is there some way around this, as it causes a HUGE system hang every time I save (so I have to disable auto saving, not to mention avoid big projects). I've noticed 'keep large files on disk' options on other vsts. EDIT: I think FL limits the size as it refuses to save over certain amount

Issues:
A small "bug" I am still seeing is some display info on buttons is still all gibberish, like delay sync. Also, some file names show as rectangles in zone menu.
'Change on midi note' causes considerable lag on edit window when either there's a lot of samples or multiple samples are triggered at once. Best solution in my eyes is to have bliss organize all samples per key and have them cycle or appear randomly when this option is selected--I think this is what happens on main menu? some improvements needed either way.

I continue to request a midi learn feature for key note ranges, and maybe even separate midi learn for velocity. It's so nice to be able to just click one button and press two keys than search through a menu of semirandom letters and numbers! Please?
Maybe even a mutli-key ability so that multiple items selected will be midi learn'd in tandem?
Besides pitch shift, it's probably my most wanted feature from this beautiful sampler!
EDIT: also, ability to delete samples/zones from edit window would be a nice touch. I don't want any of the release sounds on that salamader grand, but it looks like I'll have to delete each one individually...

We could add some option to keep file on disk after a user-based size indeed, yes.

Added to to-do list.

Pitch shift will arriva later on.

Thanks for the highly detailed feedback! Very appreciated :)

I think that can be done already.

I seem to be having an issue with beta4 /32bit scanning in the 2 host I've tried. Tried several times.

Win7- 64bit- in 32bit host. Previous versions worked, but something's going on with #4. I'll try again later.
