A person could say you can get a little taste of this with ZebraHZ/Dark Zebra.
You can hear my original music at this link: https://www.soundclick.com/artist/defau ... dID=224436

Diva is already semi-modular, and it's one of her main appeal (right up with the amazing sound quality).
IIRC, the way Diva filters work would either make "full-modularity" impossible or insanely CPU consuming. A Bazille X Diva hybrid would be stunning nevertheless.
I'd loooooooove to use Bazille components in Diva ! Urs, would it be technically possible to implement ?

Urs proclaimed a few times that such a modular system is one of the future goals of the company. With the emphasis on future

Sorry for bringing up an old topic...
But now that Reaktor 6 and especially its Blocks are out, I can't help fantasizing about its U-He equivalent. Urs, is it similar to what you plan for Berlin Modular? Damn that'd be incredible.

Reaktor 6 has no front side cables. It's modular in its backend but not in the front end, i.e. you can create a gazillion of synthesizers in a modular way, but the modularity of those synthesizers is not as immediate as in modular synths.nilhartman wrote:Sorry for bringing up an old topic...

That said, a some parts of Berlin Modular might happen in parallel to Zebra3 development, whenever they share common grounds.

Ok, thanks for your answer Urs!
Would such a customizable U-He synth hub, in which we could mix components from your different synths, be something worth considering to you?
I almost exclusively rely on Diva and Bazille (currently spending lots of efforts on building a whole drumkit with it), so sometimes I wish for a kind of U-He Reaktor hehe, to go a step further (or aside...). Not something as deep as R6 though (for the same reasons I love Numerology so much over Max for example), I bet you could nail the right balance between insane complexity and intuitive/fun user experience.
Anyway, super-happy with your current offering, can't wait for Z3 and any synth you might cook.

Yes, it means they are not "patchable", except in what concerns changing parameters in the controls of each module. To create a new "patch" (in the sense of changing interconnections between modules), you will ned to go into the patch/builder window, and create a new ensemble out of those blocks.Urs wrote:Reaktor 6 has no front side cables. It is still interesting, though, but not the same thing as connecting "cables" in ACE or Bazille

That's another story. Herw built a modular framework inside Reaktor (Modular X). Macros built to work together have to follow the guidelines of this framework. It's kind of a "Block" concept, except that it came earlier and is perhaps more advanced, IMO. And there are modules not only from Herw but also from others already.EvilDragon wrote:...or you check out some of Herw's ensembles in the user library...

That's all true, but it does offer patch cables in the GUI front-end.
