Edit: Even though it says "Download the unique sound of Sawer today" on the site, it seems it has to be shipped by snail mail.
They ship all over the world, also to Brazil, but that means the final costs gets to be 30-40 dollar

Nspace, people are just different, which is great. As Wittgenstein stated, we cannot understand one another unless we share identical thoughts "oder ähnliche Gedanken".

As this is a download product, have you tried following the method suggest upstream in this thread?

You are putting way too much in that sentence. Basically it's just another proof of Numanoid's lack of politeness. I don't expect any "emotional" reaction or anything like that.Nspace wrote:Wait till I get further, what if Numanoid was one of those who don't value the "emotional" values, and so tit for tat is what mostly matters and else is noise? Yep, pbbly not much funam I been rude?
But is a thanks too much to say when someone used pretty much time to help?? Fine I didn't expect anything because history shows not to expect anything. But being provocative now on TOP of being thankless is just pure rudeness.
What I did was not just to find a bargain and post it. I had to go and experiment back and forth, uploading a visual guide and text to show how it was done because he didn't succeed in purchasing it before. Now, I gave Numanoid the benefit of the doubt when doing this but his reaction is just another proof of his questionable behavior. And it's for sure the last time I do him any kind of favor.

It seems you are right, I edited my post above, after trying to order it.Fleer wrote:U sure this is a download product, Num? It says "ready to ship".
What fooled me is that is says "Download the unique sound of Sawer today" on the feature page at Musicians Friend.

Rude, inpolite, or whatever yet you tell me just a couple of threads above that I should return to the kitchen. Sexist or what?
When it came to that particular purchase I had at MF, I was thankful for any advice, but I nailed it by trial and error by myself.
And the deciding main factor to be able to go through with it was that I had money in my paypal account.

"Nailed it" haha. Good one. I like your way of remembering history. If in doubt just go back and read the posts.Numanoid wrote:Hans25 wrote:When it came to that particular purchase I had at MF, I was thankful for any advice, but I nailed it by trial and error by myself.
There is not need to discuss or philosophize about human behavior and misunderstandings etc. Seriously I really think you must have a miserable exisistence. I can't find any other explanation to excuse you.

Users contributed in various ways.Hans25 wrote:"Nailed it" haha. Good one. I like your way of remembering history. If in doubt just go back and read the posts.
As I remember there was some problems that some users didn't get the licence by mail by MF.
Being a "test pilot" in the deal, as I had used gmail doing the deal, could contribute info about that that was necessary to get the licence delivered.

@Numanoid
No wonder you focus on WHYs... (see your previous posts starts) which provides "material" reasons, which seem not to be the central issue this time, HOWs are.
The importance of hows is growing.
///Allow me to extend my "further" paragraph from my post above:
( I am saying this with complete respect, plus, in the case you are somehow related to the Aus' Numanoid musician, then, admiration comes to play).
when people don't value the "emotional" values, then tit for tat is what mostly matters and else is noise Such cases could be helped if a direct-to-case translation is provided, plus understood and placed in a newly acquired context (Relational and Emotional Intelligence are already accepted) and we can leave that to 2015 affairs everywhere really.
Thus, it is not just transactions here, the way they are accomplished is important too, not just because the gained trust/confidence allows us to buy more stuff or do it more securely, it is also a dimension that propels actions, allows for creativity, happiness, etc.Hence Parceling actions, like deciding I just do business here and leave everything else for home/other usually comes as an oversimplification that ends costing for real.
///This all might come as obvious, but it is not on daily things, specially when you are a focused, concentrated person... and I venture to say most of us are quite as such here.

Some food for thought there for sure.
But I think a dicussion about how we relate to other users in an internet forum, where we are all wearing "masks" is a quite different issue than bargains, and is better that such a discourse is broken off into a thread that could be started in the off topic forum for example.
We had such a discussion before:

After being called rude and inpolite, it's quite interesting to see what language other users think is not like that
