is there a way to toogle zoom in T6 ?
It would be helpfull.

Zoom toggle is a thing originalted from Pro Tools that most other DAWs do as well now.
What that means is that in PT for example you hit "e" to zoom in on something and then hit "e" again to restore the prior zoom state.
Studio One and DP9 let you store various zoom states that you can recall.
In Logic and DP9 you also have in addition the "magnifying glass" to do the same thing and more.
Thats pretty fast. Actually by far the fastest and most accurate zoom I have ever worked with. I can tell you that.
To the OP, you should have a look at everything F4-F9 (I believe? I am not in the studio right now)
which gives you a lot of fast and pretty smart zoom functionality already. That should usually be very sufficient.
Also take a look into the macro request thread somewhere here on the top of the forum.
I am pretty sure that a zoom-to-selection post is already there somewhere, I think I' ve seen something like that already.
From there it should be peanuts to add to the script for a full zoom-toggle.
(Alas you might not be able to do everything with one key, you might need two. And you might not be able to store the previous zoom state, but usually zooming out to some kind of overview is good enough anyways)

By the way: try hitting F4, Z, F5, Z, when you have something selected, that should bring
you close already. If you like you could put this together into a macro and add new
keycommands for this.

I have to do some extra zoom and de-zoom in order to get the screen to the state it was before I zoomed.
There is place for some workflow improvment here (hope Jules is reading
).Some snapshots should be helpfull too.
As you said LYTZ, it is convenient in Logic to use a single key (Z) to zoom and reverse back.

Not a bad idea, maybe a toggle from "a few seconds around the cursor" to "previous zoom state" or something like that.
I'll bet Dave could add that as a macro of some sort, I would suggest posting a request in the Macro request thread because he seems to monitor that thread well. The next version is gonna have a bunch of great Macro additions already, I'm pretty sure.
