Hive - unleashing the sequencer

Hi all,

I got Hive yesterday and build some first patches. One thing I noticed was the one obviously can not modulate the step length of the sequencer - no chance to set that from modulation matrix anyway.

Is there a way around that and is this a newbie mistake of mine? If not, that's not a deal breaker for me, there are VSTs like Cream that I can use for sequencer duty and CC control - not to mention chords and so on, but I find it curious that Hive does not provide that and I like the internal sequencer more an Arp/Sequencer hybrid where things can get pretty unintuitive once you press more than one key.
