Video of me messing about with Diva. I didn't play through the wonderful presets, i just kind of did sound design on the fly. All tweaks were done with the mouse which is limiting but still fun.

I ran Diva (In Divine mode) into Bitwigs Peak limiter to prevent clipping, and then i used a real-time 16bit Ozone Dither on the output.



It is definitely capable of some amazing analog timbres, and I haven't found something quite like it elsewhere. The whole point of having this kind of emulation is to clearly emulate analog tones, and Diva does this very very well.

Also what other minimoog emulation lets you play it duo-phonically?

I also only have a broken Akai LPK25 to use right now too.

This is that presence mentioned earlier, brought me back to those great movies from the late 70s and earliest 80s. Super cool!

OP saw a video on YouTube and don't own analog gear or Diva but in his world this is enough to start such a topic. I rather think the problem lays "deeper" and an audiologist isn't of much help.

I thought that was kinda the point of Diva. Not model a specific analog model, true, but be as "analog" as possible and versatile enough to model all of them.

I was pretty disappointed in Diva. I do not own real analog synth nur Diva but by jajging this video i can hear magical and deep tone from analog and dead and lifness of Diva. But that is Youtube. I guess if the audio was high resolution Wave like 32bit/384 Khz the difference would be bigger. And if i had better audio equipment the difference would be even more greater.

Right now i have Lynx Hilo audio interface and Sennheizers HD800 headphones.

I too have HD800 headphones and U-HE Diva and I think Diva (like ACE) is a very special synth, amongst my favourites.

But i am just saying that i heared that that analog synth sounded better then Diva. The character was close but the magicness and deepness were missing. So the modeling is still not as good as real thing or better.
P.s. Devil sends stupid people or demons in human body to a man to hail him (You are the best, you are amazing, we are so proud of you, you done the best thing and nothing can be done better, you are like God, you are perfection and etc) so as result this man will be blinded by those hails so as result he will not improve further or even may start to fall.
Hopefully Uhe company will not listen to those hails how amazing their products are but will continue move forward fest as nothing happened to bring the best possible things.

Well, in this very post you say U-He did a "great job," so by your own measure, you are either stupid or doing the work of "the devil." I'm quite confident that Urs......no matter how many compliments and hail Satans he gets , he will still always keep improving Diva, and probably everything else he creates. You do not get to where he is in this business by being satisfied with the Status quo.
