What do you think ? :?

I never really thought about it...
Hmmm, that would be over my budget... I have a mesa so I don't need badly an amp sim. At $200, I wouldn't get it but maybe around $100 (which is the usual price for plugins).
ohhh :( With my monthly wages - around 130 $ - here in
Bulgaria ........just imposible ....

I work as a teacher of Fine Arts....anyway

Do you know peoples where is Bulgaria :)

hahahahha

at least I'll be happy to try Demo version of this great plugin.

O my love o my Behrng--- V-AMP

Wooo brilliant. My only request, have it ported to Mac! :) After all, Amplitube, Guitar Rig, Rock Amp Legends are all cross platform.

I know, I know... had some request already before.
Look, it really just started with this Rockman topic here on KVR.
I never thought it would turn out with such a great result.
Guess I was lucky and had the right idea and it worked. :)

Ampitube and also Guitar Rig are $399
Both can not touch my distortion,
or even come close...

Most of the other FX you can find as good in freeware VST's... or even better...

I would say, not less then $200 and not more than $400. :-o

So please plug that guitar in for me ! :)
Here you go:
http://www.istop.com/~eputrycz/gtr_midiworks.mp3
3 parts: 1st with bridge pickup and the 2 other ones with the neck one. It is some poor playing but I tried to play stuff that doesn't work with other sims. With all other guitar sims, there are lots of dynamics missing on the parts with the neck pickup.
Then I tried quickly to record the same poor licks through my amp: http://www.istop.com/~eputrycz/gtr_midiworks_amp.mp3
Hope that will help you!

Erik.

Can you produce that '90 Nu-metal type of sound (think Limp bizkit, Linkin Park, Blink182, etc...).
Send some takes, I will make you that sound !

Sorry Lady J and all Mac users... :?
I am a musician and sound designer, not a coder...
All I try is, to put my ideas somehow into reality.

As we all have seen, the biggest coders could not come up with such a sound.
(IK, NI)

So I guess, I must be doing something right ! ;)

Thanks !!!!! That sounds very good! I think the tune 2 stuff is very realistic, and it has the punch that other amp sims are missing. For the tune 1 thing, it sounds good except that it has IMO a "linear" reaction (better than the other plugs though) that all tube amps don't have: when you play one note the distortion level sounds low but when you play something like a powerchord then it sounds like a higher distortion.

Keep up the great work,

Erik.

Ok, I see.
Please, play the same thing again,
but this time record straight into your PC please.

Your recordings before were colored.
I just thought I'll do them anyway... ;)

How did you record them exactly ?

Cheers :)

Hmm that is strange! I had the guitar straight into my bluetube preamp. No drive on the preamp, just gain. It goes then right in my delta 66.
I'll try to plug the guitar directly in the sound card and set a low gain input, but I think this is more the strat sound without humbucker.

Cheers

Erik.

Sorry it took so long. But, I did record my Stagg L320CS, a 150 euro 'Les Paul' model.

[EDIT]:
My 'output' has been deleted from the site, as I need it for my regular website content.
[/EDIT]

Original recording remark:
My guitar was connected DIRECT in my SI-24's guitar jack, there is a 24 bit ADC straight behind that.

Request for reposting can be made via PM.
