I have some apple loops that have embedded info that they are 6/8 time signature at 80 bpm, 12 beats. When I audition them, they sound fine - however they are double the number of beats that are actually in the loops. This is the set of Jerry Marotta loops that came with the Sonic Reality T3 Loop set - anyone else have them? When they were encoded I think someone screwed up either the BPM or the beat count, because the loops are 4 measures of 6/8 at 80 bpm.

In order to get them to import at the right sounding tempo, I have to set Tracktion to 40 bpm at 6/8. This doen't give me the click track that I would like.

Is there any way to 'fix' the loops OR setup tracktion with a click that will give me 8th notes at 80 bpm? I know that I can create an actual audio track with this on it, but I was hoping there might be a different way about it.

Not sure if this is what you need:

Highlight the clip in your Edit.
Choose the Loop Properties tab in the Properties panel.
Change the Beats value.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Thanks Jabe - part of this is learning T6. I kind of jumped from T3 to T6.
