I was demo'ing this plugin last night, Sasquatch Kick Machine:

Pretty good plugin. Was thinking it would be nice to have this kind of additional control in Melda Drum Enhancer (Click section, for example, and being able to layer a synthesized sub tone with tweakable parameters to tailor the sound even further). Wondering if you wouldn't mind trying the (fully functional 30 day) demo to see if it inspires you to add some new functionality to Drum Enhancer :)

Hmmm, I'd check when possible, but how? The site is extremely unintuitive... To be perfectly honest, I don't think it will happen anyway, but at least from a few not very interesting videos I checked, I think it will be quite easy to simulate using MXXX ;).

Vojtech, I'll describe the plug if you're having trouble with the website.

Sasquatch Kick Machine (and the "lite" edition, called Little Foot) are single-insert solutions for the age-old trick of using an oscillator with a gate on it, where a drum track feeds the key input of the gate. Historically, the trick is mostly used with low-freq sine waves triggered by a bass drum, or filtered noise triggered by a snare drum. But people get really creative, so of course it's not limited to just those two applications.

The plug-in lets you customize the generated signal, the envelope, and the mix between dry signal and generated signal. There are some other features as well - like harmonics generation, "dive" control which acts as a pitch envelope, sidechain filter, resonant filter on the generated signal, and a few others.

I really like these two plug-ins, but only Little Foot (the "lite" edition) is available in AAX format.

The thing you described is totally easy to do in MXXX. I think there is even a ready to go preset for this already (sub-frequency generator). ;)

MDrumEnhancer is not a drum replacer. It is an enhancer. Rather than layering triggered sounds on top of your drums it superimposes the character of samples onto your drums.

Yep, all true ;)

Anyway indeed that thing is definitely very simple to do using MXXX, and you could probably do it even better. Maybe there's an active preset for that, but I don't really know, there's like 500 of them and I didn't even have time to go through all of them :).
