Hi all,

On my Sub 37, I can make a sequence in duophonic mode and switch the octave settings of each oscillator to create cool variations. I would like to do the same on Diva. However, while oscillator one's range control snaps to octaves, oscillator two and three's range controls are seemingly tied to their detune controls. Therefore, it is not possible to move oscillator two and three's range controls one octave at a time.

Anyone know a way to force octave two and three's range controls to snap to octaves?

Better yet, it would be great if the detune and octave controls were made into separate parameters. 8)

Many thanks!

Well, Urs explains why this is the case in the below post and offers a workaround using a MIDI controller mapping. But, I was hoping to use Ableton Push and avoid MIDI mapping.

assign a midi control to those parameters... then in the new midi controller pane, you can set the mode to octaves

Yep - that's what I did. And, I just used the Ableton Max4Live ControlChange8 device to send MIDI messages via Push. Nice.
