What are the next major features being implemented for the next T6.x release and what if any is the road map for the remaining development cycle of Tracktion up to T7.0?
Just wanting a glimpse ahead...
Anyone at Tracktion????

I can't see any more additions to T6. On recent history I'd expect T7 in February.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

Could we have an update on native plugin bridging and sandboxing.
This was certainly indicated if not quite promised.

At some point the secret army of sworn-to-silence T7 beta testers will get to work!gigazaga wrote:That sounds about right to me too.jabe wrote:I can't see any more additions to T6. On recent history I'd expect T7 in February.

Sort the browser out so that multiple selection can be tagged at once instead of individually.
Lock the level meters and volume slider to a fixed size so that it keeps them in line.
Make Show big Meters work. ( Ctrl-Alt-M ) It used to show wav levels but never vst and now it shows nothing.
If it showed output levels for the track we could do away with all this debate about mixers as at least during mixdown you could see levels relative to each other and almost the whole screen wide.
Would do no harm to incorporate K-Metering scales as well.
Get rid of the Loops-Presets-Plugins dropdown and replace it with 3 buttons.
You can hold T7 back for me. Better to sort the niggles that still exist inside T6 first.

According to the screenshot, T7 seems to be a great upgrade.
But i would like T6 plugin crash under OSX 10.11 to be fixed ASAP.
Hope also T7 will be less jerky with some plugin GUI.

Looks like a spot of prettification for a start - I didn't think it necessary, but some of the reviews in the comics did. Perhaps more variability for screen elements? A + sign on each track (or clip?) for adding plug-ins (etc) without dragging them across millimetres of screen space? Plug-ins per clip and not just per track? More informative plug-in images on the track? Fifty shades of purple? Right-click menus extended even more?
-20.68 left... is that a balance summary or a space summary?
More speculation and spoiler images, please!
PS: MusicTech Mag has another T6 review this month (p92, 8/10 again) but it didn't mention the Melodyne plug-in.

Edit-ability of T plugins is new - however does anyone actually use them? I don't. I always saw them as just for newbies and as example plugins to get used to how T works.
