So it's payback time...

Cut the Moog rubbish out of the original video, leaving only the u-he stuff and post that one on You Tube

The only reason that Zebra is inside the computer is because if it was hardware,it would take up so much space that Hans would have to shift his Moog heater into another room

I have a feeling that the Moog is just a bit of a show pony anyway...
No auto tune...

i hope not. that's a sizable investment for a serious synth. really looking forward to hearing THAT sound again. no reason why you can't mix the best of old and new.

Hans Zimmer's music seems to be all about doing just that, and he's certainly not alone. Musicians have been doing that from the very beginning. Hardware synths and software synths can blend utterly seamlessly so use whatever inspires you.

Many Han's make light work:

I have this feeling too. Friend of mine had studio with 20k of gear to show customers but according to his words 95% of production has been done in the box.
Murderous duck!

What, did he have Phil refurb his 2600 to use as a coffee table? Folks must be buying euroracks, given all the startups showing up these days at NAMM. And now Korg seems to be on a retro roll. Look, in box is way convenient and economical and a lot of the programming is damn near miraculous. But there's also some hardware that can't really be appreciated until you actually get your hands on it. Yeah, if you're using someone else's shop, you're going to appreciate efficient. If it's your own set-up and the clock is not a constant concern, then production and exploration can take a number of paths.

Yes, Moog should think about selling huge modular systems with no electronics inside. They would be big studio show pieces. All real studio production work would be done on an iPad. :ud:

That does not work... you have to be able to spend 15 minutes wowing customers with the cool sounds of the Moog on the studio tour

Yes, it would be better if the big modular show Moog had a few working knobs wired into the Animoog iPad app which would provide all of the audio.

Just embedded digital player -- $2 chip that plays one of 16 rom wavs based on one knob selection.
Murderous duck!
