you can work somehow like this with ext if you follow two simple rules for both your and your friend(s)'s setups :
- you have to load ext as a plugin inside itself (either in the main window or in the sequencer comp).
- import/export new additions from the hosted ext
now you can build new parts inside the hosted ext with almost unlimited complex setups and share them (taken into account you have the same range of vst(i) available as your friend(s) , which is surely not impossible in the freeware world) .
save the altered ext project in the hosted ext , then import it into the hosted ext on another computer (can be done by drag 'n drop btw.).
