Bug Report: Redraw problems with high-Q notch filters in Melda equalizers.

The problem:
Notch filters sometimes encounter visual problems with drawing the visual EQ curve in the graph area. It happens with high Q notches, and is especially noticeable when resizing the window. The curve "jumps" around when re-sizing, and the display shows incorrect curves once resizing is done.
I have encountered this with MEqualizer, MAutoDynamicEQ, and MEqualizerLinearPhase. The severity of the problem seems to correspond with the Q value, redraw problems are worse with high Q.
For example, MEqualizerLinearPhase does not suffer from this as much as MEqualizer and MAutoDynamicEqualizer. Note the maximum Q for MEqualizerLinearPhase is 10.0, while it is 20.0 in the others.
To reproduce:
1. Open a Melda EQ mentioned above (MEqualizer, MEqualizerLinearPhase, MAutoDynamicEQ)
2. Create a series of notch filters with Q of 20.0
3. Re-size the plug-in window

No, this is the 64 bit VST 2 version. Version in the video is 9.06, behavior is the same with the newest release (9.11)

Yes, well, I'm afraid there's quite no way around it. It's also slightly GPU dependent I'm afraid. Well, you need to use ears as usual
.
For the record, this cannot be fixed completely, it can be improved at a cost of much higher CPU requirements...

It is nice indeed! It's a style preset given to me by user lachrimae. I have it set to the Aluminion style, just like lachrimae did.ericzang wrote:mesaone, nice color theme on the plugin! Is that acheived with the built in editor or an external skin?
