It would be ace to be able to 'see' what MTransformer is doing; where the frequencies in the sound are before and after the transformation. I'm doing it by ear at the moment, which I know Vojtech is a fan of, but I feel my job would be easier if I could see where the frequencies I want to affect are located.

I was thinking about having it overlay into the left transformation graph, as that way you can line up the graph to match it... but I dont know what you do with the right 'level' graph, as that transformation is more concerned with volume and I'm not sure how the best way to visualise that.

Sure, I know I can use an analyser, but Melda have incorporated analysers into other effects with great results (the crossover filters!) and I think this is exactly the sort of effect that would benefit from it.

Thanks!

I'm afraid it probably won't happen, mainly technical reasons, I'll check though. But really, it won't give you almost any idea in most cases, just trust me on that :).

Fair enough. But at least adding an 'input' frequency analyzer will tell you what frequencies are being used by the sound you're trying to effect... that can be helpful when trying to figure out where you need to tweak the curve.

But if it doesn't happen its no big deal, i can still use one of your analyzers to figure it out.

Thanks!

Thinking about it. There are technical problem vs. CPU consumption things...
