Thank you booth for the answer. Mmmhhh... think it´s not possible to answer all my silly questions (and i have still a lot) today so i will study the manual in depth and pull the trigger then maybe.Sampleconstruct wrote:Yes, OpenGL-mode fixes the flickering issues, Falcon has been behaving fine since this was implemented - on both my Retina displays.otristan wrote:Using the OpenGL renderer helps. Some plug-ins have problems when open the UI and cpu spikes etc. I´m going to decide if i buy it (or not) today.
And it would be interesting to know in general if i could create really complex multis on a haswell i7 2.0 quadcore cpu with 8 GB ram. I know it´s more than the minimum needed to run it but with such a tool i want to get huge (means kind like huge Omnisphere 2 multis or several instances of Dune 2 and Alchemy 2).
Sorry to bother people with this questions but without demo i can´t imagine if this works out for me.
AFAIK, this is what Simon does. (although he is using a mac pro)
If i just get a few happy days of it it will be worth the price since everything else sucks
