As long bitwig cant to simple stuff without bugs it cant pushing forward either and expect users to be still with themxbitz wrote:bug free Bitwig is higher on my prio list, I can live with Phalanx(dedicated EDM sampler) meantime

Bitwig 299$ + Phalanx 279$ + normal EQ for 100$ (or more for example) = 678$ !!! Live Suite only for 749$ and this is price without their 20% discount that is often. And this is price from official shop.. We all remember KVR Marketplace prices. And now Live 9.5 with really mind blowing update! Time to think twice.
Nowadays Ableton Live is all in one. Bitwig is Bitwig + many VSTs..

U have right but bitwig still needs to be stable with less bugs. Ableton is allready good yes but bitwig just cant jump to where ableton is and not excpect problems and to many of that alsoGeek Model wrote:Bitwig 299$ + Phalanx 279$ + normal EQ for 100$ (or more for example) = 678$ !!! fyi, Phalanx: at this moment u can get another free plugin beside it if u buy it, all the VPS plugins can be used inside Phalanx (as inbuilt module), Metrum his kick synthesizer also can be used as inbuilt sound source, from 3.28Geek Model wrote:Bitwig 299$ + Phalanx 279$ + normal EQ for 100$ (or more for example) = 678$ !!! Notenames in pianoroll, saves samples in project.

multiplying the single unit anywaycodec17 wrote:...No offense of course!!Only 16 slots? ...
in Bitwig (as smaller building block), and for serious things (non EDM specific tweakings) u gonna use the big ones: Kontakt, MachFive or HALion ( http://www.musictech.net/2013/08/phalanx-review/ )

The New UVI Falcon is a very powerful sampler, and much more.
I would rather see the Bitwig Studio Team focus on enhancing, and adding more features to the core functionality of BWS.
http://www.uvi.net/en/software/falcon.html
Currently at the Special Price of $229. (Back to the Regular Price of $349. On Nov. 9th).

200$+? Holy f**k
Check out Tx16wx, if you don't specifically need bundled sound content.
http://www.tx16wx.com/
Anyway, I agree that the built-in Sampler could use some (a lot of) improvements!
