The display in Live is accurate, if you run your session at 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz then the filters will be cramped unless you oversample them. There is one filter which is "Clean" and has no non-linearities, so letting the resonance be above 100% is bad since it would increase in amplitude exponentially and quickly clip your sound cards outputs. All the other filter models are non-linear, so the resonance saturates in different ways depending on audio input - this is what analog filters do, and the non-linear models are models of analog filters.
