Every time I adjust the skin size, it goes back to default the next time I open it. The command to make default or make permanent or whatever it is didn't work. I guess that's just for the skin?

"Make default" is just for the skin selection. For UI size, you need to have the latest updates for u-he plugins that have the new Preferences panel implemented (Zebra, Diva, Bazille, Satin, Presswerk, ACE, Hive, Podolski - others don't have this yet).

I have the latest updates. Am I going to the wrong place? I hit the menu at the top and chose for example 120% and it resizes. Then I close and open it and it goes back to default. So there is a different menu with size options? That's strange to have size options in different places isn't it?

Hit the preferences button (gearwheel). Go to the last tab (screwdriver button). Choose skin and UI size there. Works perfectly here.
The right-click menu is there for compatibility with skins which don't have the preferences panel implemented (which is most of them).

Not really - it makes perfect sense. The one in Preferences sets the default size, which you can change at any time via right-click in the normal window WITHOUT AFFECTING NEW INSTANCES. Also, the right-click option helps if one sets the size so large that the preference panel disappears
