World Traditions is the only sample library I ever returned.Musical Gym wrote:thanks Olivier
I didn't find any in-depth video reviews for World Traditions. Does that mean there was little interest in it?
What is the quality of the playable instruments in World Traditions?
It's not all bad, but for instance the "Irish Flutes Long" are basically the "Irish Flutes Short" with a loop point that totally does not work. A very short loop that is clearly audible and sounds like a something from a not so hot 80ies rompler.
Or the Indian Percussion has 4 (in words "four") tabla loops...
Overall it is a mixed bag of stuff that doesn't really allow you to work on any one area in depth. You get a bit of everything but hardly enough to build a more elaborate piece.
For todays standards, it feels more like what you get in a random sampler from a sample vendor than a full blown library.
I guess it's quite old and never got an update.
A nice freebie but probably nothing to blow your socks off.
But it's better than the gongs
So yeah, UVI could really do with some fresh and high quality creative libraries...
Cheers,
Tom
