Your prediction for Komplete 11

A couple of things that can be improved in a possible Kontakt 6 (if it ships with Komplete 11)
Less CPU intensive effects. I find that when CPU start to spike, turning of effects inside Kontakt is the way to get the load down. But it would of course be nice to use the inbuilt effects in Kontakt without CPU spikes.
Maybe it can be solved by adding VST3 support, I read at Steinberg that VST3 is leaner on the resources than VST2

I had posted this in another topic-
Let's see:
Symphonic Series- String Ensemble
Symphonic Series- Brass Collection
Reaktor 6
Emotive Strings
Strummed Acoustic
Replika
Yea, we are close to seeing Komplete 11/U. I could see Reaktor 6, Strummed Acoustic and Replika making it to the base version of Komplete (along with Kontrol 1.5, and possibly even Emotive Strings). I would imagine a Strummed Acoustic "Pro" and the rest of the library ending up in the Ultimate version.
Yep. It can't be too far away.

Actually sound iron has said that the symphonic brass won't be in Komplete Ultimate. If that's the case then the same probably goes for the other symphonic series.thejonsolo wrote:I had posted this in another topic-

Strange as it IS listed as a Komplete instrument on Native Instrument's website.Echoes in the Attic wrote:

Yeah I don't think a technicality like that is going to sway them to give it away with k11 ultimate. They seem to make it pretty clear that it was going to be a separate product. I think they even offer a separate cross grade for it.thejonsolo wrote:Strange as it IS listed as a Komplete instrument on Native Instrument's website.Echoes in the Attic wrote:

Yes I did realize they have a crossgrade on BOTH products. While the price is appealing in that regard, it is ashamed as those would be the only products in the list that would make an update worthy to me.masterhiggins wrote: Yeah I don't think a technicality like that is going to sway them to give it away with k11 ultimate. Oh well. Time to start saving up for those.

To Kontemplate or not to Kontemplate
That is the Kwestion!
Really looking forward to Komplete 11.
MutliiTouch enhancements.
Absynth 6
Kontakt 6
Massive 2
Perhaps a NI DAW?
How about a great new plugin surprise.
If I had to choose one it would be Absynth 6.
Predict December or January release.
IIRC Spectrasonics has promised something new and
exciting to be released. When?

"The Symphony Series is a growing range of premium high-end tools created to be truly professional scoring instruments, delivering maximum quality, variety, and flexibility. Uncluttered and elegant interfaces accelerate any workflow. And Seamless KOMPLETE KONTROL S-Series integration immediately puts these advanced, dynamic instruments under your fingertips for fast, inspired scoring. Please note that Symphony Series instruments will not be included in KOMPLETE or KOMPLETE ULTIMATE."thejonsolo wrote:Yes I did realize they have a crossgrade on BOTH products. I'm guessing early spring 2016, almost certainly not this year. Eight out of the ten Komplete generations so far were released in Sept/Oct of their release years, in time for the holidays.
There was about 18 months between K8->K9 and K9->K10, versus 11-13 months for previous releases. And considering that the Symphony Series instruments won't be in K11, there are only 4 Komplete-line products released since K10:
- Replika
- Strummed Acoustic
- Emotive Strings
- Reaktor 6
(And wasn't Replika a freebie for some of us last year?)
I'm hoping most for Massive 2 and a Battery 5 that restores all the Battery 3 features they omitted from Battery 4.

My prediction : Komplete 11 will most likely surface during Q1-2016
I'm also really curious to see how different Kontakt 6 will be compared to Kontakt 5 , and earlier versions. I think it is about time they did a complete overhaul of Kontakt at version 6. We shall see.
And most likely non of the large new NI Orch. Libraries will be included in the Komplete 11 content.

Kontakt 6 is my main interest - I don't think I will go the whole Komplete upgrade - although pricing may make that more or less inevitable. Kontakt 6 will have to be something quite special for me to upgrade though. I am not feeling a great need for more expensive libraries as a driver for the upgrade.

Kontakt 6 will likely look like Battery 4, style-wise.
I'm beginning to wonder if March will be too soon... There's very little at the moment to go in either release. Even Kontakt 6 won't be enough, really. I'm also thinking it might be a good release for Ultimate owners to just update to regular Komplete 11 - you'd keep all your extra stuff from 10 of course, and just update Reaktor, Kontakt and presumably have a couple of other new products.
Best guess is that the Komplete Symphonic Suite will be a bolt-on for either version - the bundle at a reduced rate from buying all 4 individually, and the current half price crossgrade still applying.
