Hi all receptor users

I'm unable to install Zebra 2 on my Receptor 2, and could appreciate some advice.

I have downloaded the installer from Plugorama, where it states that Zebra 2 should be compliant with Receptor running software ver 1.9 or above. The install keeps failing though :(

Mogens

Found this in my Receptor Install Log.

Hi Mogens,

I have been constantly updating u-he plugins (including Zebra) without issue on my OS 1.9 R2. I haven't seen the problem you are describing - with the installer failing to create a directory for documents.

Have you tried manually creating the folder that it is looking for:

/Documentation/Plugins Documentation/u-he

I'm guessing if you did this, the installer would succeed next time.

HTX, I'l try that

Somehow it makes sense, that I do not have the required privilege to create the folder U-HE within the folder Documentation. I did purchase the unit as a second hand, so maybe someone changed the security settings on the OS.

I would send a quick note (or call) Muse's support. They can either login remotely to change privs on your unit, or send you some kind of RPM that will fix privs.

Other than that, you could try to gain root PWs to change privs, but this violates user-agreements with Muse (they probably won't help you if you've changed root).

Anyway, should be a simple fix.
Hope this helps,

Kevin L
