I have mux in reaper. There's 2 in 4 out stereo. How do I send from mux to 3/4 5/6 7/8 ?
Adding more audio outputs doesn't work for me.
Edit: Forgot to enable the output pins Now Solved.

Also assuming I've now mastered that concept is there a way to add 4 more outputs in reaper?
MuxSynthNumStereoInputs/MuxSynthNumStereoOutputs/MuxEffectNumStereoInputs/MuxEffectNumStereoOutputs : These 4 settings define the number of inputs and outputs for the synth and effect version of MUX Modular VST. These are global settings that should be used carefully. The effect of changing these settings also depends on your host. Be sure the properly test a new configuration before relying on it. The defaults for these settings are respectively: 2/4/2/4
I tried adding that line but it gets deleted. Maybe something to do with running as administrator settings?

When I insert MuX as an instrument track, Reaper asks "Do you want to add the following tracks for this effect?" and lists the ins/outs. Do you get that pop-up / are you adding as a new instrument track? The message also says "If not, only the stereo 1/2 outputs will be audible without further routing".

If you said "No" or inserted as an effect, you'll need to add the ins/outs back. With the plug-in editor open you'll see to the right of the preset "2/4 in 2/8 out" -- you've connected two of the four inputs and two of the eight outputs. If you click that display, you'll get a pop-up "Plug-in pin connector". This lets you add in the in and out pins again.

Next, they need connecting. This is done at track level. As you've only mentioned outputs, I'll not worry about setting up inputs. Set up three new (plain) tracks. Click the "I/O" button on the track with MuX in. You'll see "- Sends -" and an "Add new send" button. Click the button, choose one of the newly added tracks. You'll see the send has an "Audio Source". This is the track output pair you want sent to the target - so change the default of "1/2" (going to the master) to "3/4" or later. Then repeat the "Add new send" for the remaining two extra outs.

Hi,

maybe not actual but:

this line should be added not 'as is' but in the next way:

MuxSynthNumStereoInputs=2
MuxSynthNumStereoOutputs=4
MuxEffectNumStereoInputs=2
MuxEffectNumStereoOutputs=4
