I seem to recall this used to be available. Using MStereoSpread to artificially "stereo-ize" a mono track. Now it's not available on mono tracks in Pro Tools.

It would have to have a stereo output. But it should still be available on mono tracks. I don't know how familiar you are with Pro Tools, but in case you're not: many plug-ins are available that are mono input, stereo output. Inserting a mono-to-stereo plug-in on a mono track will change the track output to stereo automatically, with the source remaining mono.

Many Melda plug-ins already have this feature. I really thought that MStereoSpread was available in mono-to-stereo format before (prior to 9.11 I think), I'm almost sure of it.
