Hopefully I don't get threadsmacked for asking, but is Octopus reskinable?

I had a look yesterday.... it is reskinable but it has a lot of detail on the main panel. May be more difficult to have a good result. I'm swamped ATM so I probably won't be able to look at it for a while and I don't own it...Ridan wrote:Hopefully I don't get threadsmacked for asking, but is Octopus reskinable?

Looking through my LinPlug licences I see one for "RMV Drum Addiction Grace". What was that?

Some kind of Grace Period ? Maybe you bought RM IV right before RM V was released or something along those lines ?DarkStar wrote:Looking through my LinPlug licences I see one for "RMV Drum Addiction Grace". What was that?

^^^
That could be it, thank you. Looking around my discs I saw that it was originally in an email when I received a RMIV serial number. And I'll get my licences from LinPlug too, so I've got them all together.

Looks like I can still buy RMV
The sales link is active and I can put it in my basket:
https://secure.shareit.com/shareit/cart ... &cookies=1
Then I saw this post by Linplug there at Nov 11:

But isn't that plain old catch 22, why discontinue the plugs in the first place if there is still demand for them?Yes, the links still work, we kept them working as there is still demand

They discontinued it, because they don't want to provide technical support, for example. Like fixes for new OS-es.
It takes money and time, although by now these plugins are rather thoroughly tested and stable.
But even without the tech support, You can still obtain a valid, cheap license. Win-win

But a time limited sale is a time limited sale, if it goes on and on, it becomes like that in session audio never ending going out of business saleKumi_27 wrote:But even without the tech support, You can still obtain a valid, cheap license. Win-win

And the problem with that is?... Because I don't quite get Your point.
Linplug people just changed their minds about the sale and I'm ok with it. Maybe I'll even buy something from them.
Octopus is tempting.

I really don't see any issue with them just leaving these off their homepage but continuing to have the Shareit links work. I plan to get Organ 3 when I have money burning a hole in my pocket, I don't know when that will be but I hope it is still available at that time.
