Expanded RAM for Receptor VIP2

I bought the new receptor VIP2 about three months ago and its a big improvment over my Receptor version C I traded in. I'd like to know if the expandable 8 gig RAM boosting the VIP2 to 16 gigs is now available. I'm now interested in purchasing one to expand my RAM. Is it something I need to purchase thru Muse Research or is an off-the-shelf version I can buy from other computer vendors? What is the recomended good quality RAM that matches the exsiting RAM in the VIP2 now?

Since no one seems to be responding I will. I just bought a VIP2 and talked to Bryan about adding memory. You can add an 8G memory stick yourself but it must match the one in your system to function properly, so that would mean opening up the VIP2 and writing down all the particulars on the chip and shopping around. Or just call Muse and order one as they have matching memory available and can ship it to you so you only need to open your VIP2 the one time. You will have to get the price from them but it seems like it was around $100. I suppose if you call them they could also give you the chip requirements over the phone.

Thanks for the response. I thought it was something along the lines of contacting Muse. I've talk to Bryan before so I'll contact them to get the correct RAM and order thru them.
