Nice thing about the Player-version is the simplicity of the automation parameters that show up choosing automation in Logic 9. There are the 8 easy parameters, the XYpad1 and XYpad2 settings and some other essential automation settings.
The Instrument-version has hundreds if not thousands of settings. (In which Logic 9 almost chokes when displaying the long list of automation parameters.)
Something I imagine: wouldn't it be beautiful if on top of the list of those numerous automation parameters the Player parameters would be available? Programmaticaly, all parameters are shown in alphabetical order, so this might be possible using a trick, preceding the automation-name with a 1, or another token that makes them show on top.. what I mean is, ALL parameters are there for the hardliners and programmers, but the most essential (as in the Player) are on top..
I can make logic in touch- or latch-mode learn the XYPad1 Y and XYPad2 Y parameter (not X..) but it does not show in the list to choose.
Also, is Easy 1-8 Bipolar the same as the Easy1-8 parameters in the Player? My experience till so far says it does not. Where stands 'bipolar' for?
Things might be solved with the learn-mode assigning a midi CC but I don't like using that with my Roland A-800Pro keyboard as the sliders affect other things. I like to stick within the automation parameters itself.
Any comments on this welcome.
