In the latest (November 2015) issue of Keyboard magazine, Jean-Michel Jarre is plugging his new project "The Time Machine". He makes a brief mention of Diva. He implies that he likes/loves Diva and seemed to imply it is on this latest project.

His endorsment is a kind of a joke. I belive he would endorse one ping only if price is right.
Also he hasn't done anything interesting in 20 years or so.
Todd Terje's album sleeve mentioning Diva and Ace worth 100 times more.

No - we offered JMJ a lifetime supply of German sausage and Sauerkraut, whereas (apparantly) One-Ping only offered a lifetime NFR. Easy decision.david.beholder wrote:You want to say that of one ping only creators has already tried to approach JMJ with briefcase full of money but he has denied offer?Howard wrote:Belief is overrated

Oh, i.c. I didn't meant hinted or insinuated that U-he has payed something to JMJ...Howard wrote:No - we offered JMJ a lifetime supply of German sausage and Sauerkraut, whereas (apparantly) One-Ping only offered a lifetime NFR. Easy decision.
altho your story is quite believable in most recent interviews JMJ has belly and die deutsch haarschnitt which looks like side effects of German sausage overconsumption.

We post exaggerated testimonials of every artist whom we offer free software (or money, fwiw) all over our website. Just like every other company which does so. Just go to www.u-he.com for a full list, it's right there on the front page.

If anybody feels the need to talk down on our customers, prominent or not, please don't do it in our forum. I feel as awkward deleting such posts as reading them.

Wow, I did not expect a semi-hostile reply. I'm actually not a huge Jean-Michel Jarre fan, but I like some of his music. Jarre worked with a lot of famous people on his latest project. The name Todd Terje did not ring a bell with me at all, so I had to look him up on wikipedia. I'm actually more into the Who than Jarre, so this song with Pete Townshend was interesting:

Before certain moment it was quite funny before murnau and contained hidden ads of ketchup wurst and one ping only.aaron aardvark wrote:Wow, I did not expect a semi-hostile reply.
I know about different strokes for different folks but find that track inaudible and VERY PALE in comparison to his albums prior oxygen 7-13.aaron aardvark wrote:I'm actually more into the Who than Jarre, so this song with Pete Townshend was interesting
He is amazing producer (Brian Ferry, Lindstrom etc), amazing remixer and his "It's album time" is the best album of 2014.aaron aardvark wrote:The name Todd Terje did not ring a bell with me at all, so I had to look him up on wikipedia.
