Nevermind. I just rtfm. You just drop specific notes to the midi track for each pattern, it's start, it's duration, etc. that seems easy enough.

if you have spare 90 bucks I would say go for it. I find the plug useful. as some say it is a half baked product but does the job. sound library is solid especially for dance and electronica type of music.

unfortunately if you pay the money you hit the dead end as izotope has no plans to develop it further.

so it depends what you are after. gadget or investment. personally investment wise i would go for 2nd hand korg volca drum or sampler :)

I never worry about resale value. I never sell anthing anyway. I think it would be worth having to go along with the other 10 or more drum machines I have. I do think that I'd get $88 worth of fun out of it even if it never makes a single track. Clearly I have a gear monkey on my back.

This is exactly my mentality with purchases now. I think BT is one of those over-priced but always on sale products that is probably worth the discounted price-tag. Perhaps iZotope will permanently reduce it soon like they did with Iris 2 and Trash 2.

Its a shame the BT collabs are unsupported now, both of them could be great products with a few improvements.

I believe everything at izotope has a 10 day demo...

I do think that's a no-brainer (especially for the expanded version). I love it. Heck, just for all the triple A samples you get...

also, I love plugin guru, and they put this out:

Just checked jrrshop again and now it's on special for $83.16 with discount code GROUP.

Also, Izotope has it on for $99 now. Think I'll pay JRR a visit.

Also value your time. Will you enjoy the time you spend learning to use it well?
Sadly, Iris2 is $88 in basket too-- it must also be at the end of its life. :(
I love the optimism!

I've already got Trash 2 and the expansions, and I have too much self-respect to pay for StutterEdit. :hihi:

I bought BT from JRR. They seem to have become my Izotope merchant of choice lately. 8)

For 80 bucks with the expansions it's a no brainer....
I bought it yesterday, there are some great sounds (you can't tell from the demo as the supplied sounds are very limited)

I think the interface could benefit from resize, and it's pretty heavy on CPU, but it is easy to use, very fast results, synth part actualy quite deep, polyrhythms fun, glitchy bit can produce some unusual percussion...all in all imidate and fun but capable of producing some fairy unique grooves.

I suspect this will be upgraded (without BTs involvement) perhaps in another form, I can't see why not, it got great industry reviews...
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

Izotope said in another kvr thread no further development planned for Breaktweaker.

I really love Iris 1 & 2, but have traded enough emails with those devs to be skeptical.
