I guess someone asked, but is there anyway to convert in real-time audio information to midi using the pitchtracking modulator?
That way we could record/use:
-CC for bending/inflexion
-CC for intensity
-Midi note
Is there a plugin coming that could seperate well 'principal notes' and recognique inflexions as bending CC so we can blow jazz-line (not just long-easy-to-track notes)? Imitone tried to do that, but it seems there pitch detector is not capable on that kind of seperation.
Thanks

I'd like to request the same thing(almost). I know it might be difficult to make something that tracks pitch to midi well enough for real time instrument control, but I think midi cc would be easier. Many V.I. Use midi cc to control volume vibrato, etc and for orchestral instruments with out this they often sound lifeless. Many people use expression pedals or breath controllers. Unfortunately these can be expensive.
If you could make a cheap plugin that converted volume to midi cc people could use it as a breath controller with normal microphones. It seems like you have the tech to do it now, so it's not too much trouble I think it would be a useful plugin for a lot of people.

Melodyne and Vielklang 2 do this in perfection. If you only need it once go with their demos.
These tools have a different approach for a reason (non realtime analysis) to achieve the desired result.

For a monophonic source, look at Reapers ReaTune.
For polyphonic sources like Guitar, look at JamOrigins Midi Guitar 2.
I to think Melda should be able to enable it in there Plugins. Allmost all the functionality exists, so it should just be a little Midi out option
