Hmmmm... Solo band is great!! I was missing it...
but...
If you are listening to the delta information of compression, solo band doesn't work properly. All the other bands start coming through in normal mode and the band that is soloed sounds a bit weird. At least lower in volume.
Just to be clear, this happens when GR delta is engaged and a band is soloed.
Would be cool if you could listen to the delta information of a soloed band only!
Another hotfix maybe?
Seriously though, it's already a very good plugin, I'll propably go for the GE soon! Would love to try the upward compression!!

This is not a modular frequency splitter device that you can grab for free!
This is an enclosed system and natural evolution of NOVA-67P.
If you want a channel splitter, or a parallel processor, there are a lot(!) of plugins, free ones even, that you can use in your modular subhost or general environment (RyhthmInMind, Robin Schmidt/rs-met, Bluecat Audio come to mind, among others).
Don't demand (way) more than you already got, which would also move drastically away from the plugins concept, just to let it fit more into your personal workflow. Something that you can build (in theory) within your own host (sometimes really easy!). And especially at this price!
It's like asking a sample provider, that recorded a piano, to make a bass out of it with dubstep wobbles. Doesn't work this way, sorry. Though maybe another example: asking a developer to add a PPM into a VU is not a drastic move, but asking him for additional LPF/HPF, gain knob, M/S, transient designer, etc... sure is!

In practical terms: updates, more control over dynamic settings per band, bonus features like "solo band", Equal Loudness Bypass, AAX, etc.
Definitely thin lines - I'm agreeing on that... though NOVA is also a completely different product to NOVA-67 (as can be seen with the filter behavior and CPU usage). So, it depends on your personal preferences I'd say.

First things first: thanks guys for this great and somewhat unique plugin (especially since the full fledged standard version comes for free). I respect your art and craft and I like your business model of offering a full fledged standard version for free and an even more sophisticated Gentlemans Edition for a reasonable price!
I don't know whether it has been discussed before, but will there be any chance of an VST3 version for optimal usage in Cubase/Nuendo? Does your current framework support this? I know there is this Quatro channel trick (which is not available in my version of Cubase), but a VST3 would be optimal in Cubase. I really find it laughable too that Steinberg doesn't support VST2 sidechaining and many developers have taken issue with it before. Just curious.

Quick bug report (1.0.2):
Adjusting Q in band solo mode screws up output gain compensation. Reproduction steps:
1. Open new instance of Nova
2. Select any band, press ctrl to solo, and then adjust Q with mousewheel
3. Release solo. Output is now significantly louder.
4. Toggle the band's threshold active. Output is now normalized again.
Win 7 x64, Reaper 5.1
PS. That attack time bug

Another:

I also notice that the preset changes the analyzer signal source... I wouldn't want that, but maybe that's just me?
Oh, and there is a bit of an inconsistency in the user interface: double-click on a knob resets the value, but 2click on the wideband handle in the analyzer window and it inserts a new band instead of resetting the gain.
