It is scheduled to end November 30 but, like the PSP 608MD deal, it will likely be extended a few extra days.VariKusBrainZ wrote:@Uncle E

We have a few Oddity 2 licenses left over from the introductory sale. PM me if you're interested in that.e@rs wrote:Do GForce products ever go on sale at JRR?

Does u-he ever have sales, I mean besides the intro prices when a product is first released?
Also, I noticed their synths are hardly ever in the Marketplace to buy 2nd hand.

u-he doesn't do conventional sales directly, but their software is now available through third party sellers so I could see sales happening through such third party channels.Examigan wrote:Does u-he ever have sales, I mean besides the intro prices when a product is first released?

There was a licence for Bazille this week in the sales forum, that didn't get sold for a long time, the price had to be lowered to $75 for somebody to bite, so things are maybe changing a little?

Well that's disappointing. But direct, which I appreciate.Blue Cat Audio wrote:Indeed, thePatchWork and Oscilloscope Multi plug-ins are not on sale, because their price is already quite low!
Some other time then, maybe, for me anyway.

How would you compare this to the P&M Chainer (with the VIP bundle included)?

Is the P&M Chainer free?
It says on the webpage that "The P&M Chainer is a "FREE" plugin", but the there is a price listed there as $99
Edit: OK, then I geddit, the "full version" enables other than P&M plugs to be included: If you purchase the FULL version, the Chainer will be able to load and "Chain" any VST effects or VSTi instruments making it a powerfull tool to use within any modern DAW including Pro Tools.

FYI, contrary to the info on the JRR page (might want to update that Eric), the Nomad Factory Magma page says this:hivkorn wrote:Guys , this is a real bargain , nomad factory Magma : 79 $

Doesn't look like it runs as a standalone host. Anyone know if that's right? I'm looking for something lighter than a DAW to host Amplitube for live/jamming use, so I can use other fx too.MAGMA V1.5 now support 3rd party VST plug-ins, so you can mix and match your favorite VSTs.
And what exactly does "four easy to use racks" mean? One instance of Magma appears to your DAW as up to four separate effects, each of which hosts multiple plugins?

yeah it support 3rd party VST plug-ins , maybe i don't said it the right way...it is not a standalone.
You 4 insert slot that you can route just like you want , and you have some build in LFO to modulate any parameter.

Do they still disallow license transfer on sale items?hivkorn wrote:Guys , this is a real bargain , nomad factory Magma : 79 $

I thought I heard otherwise, but their FAQ still clearly states the license cannot be transferred.
http://www.nomadfactory.com/faq/
EDIT: confirmed that the FAQ is correct. If you buy a Nomad Factory plugin at a sales price, they do not allow license transfer.I bought my Nomad Factory software online during a special online promotion. Can I transfer my License to someone else?
No. If you bought your Nomad Factory software at a discounted rate during an online promotion, you cannot transfer the license to another user. If you bought the software for full price, then you can transfer the license to another user.
(even with non-sale price, they charge $20 for transfer, but that's another story).
To me, this is a deal breaker, unfortunately. I'll pass...

It's tempting both P&M VIP and Magma, but as I am already using Pod Farm 2 and Guitar Rig, I should have enough as it is.

Hi,
should i buy PPG wave 3V update for 64€?
I own PPG 2 and love the sound and presets. But i hate the browser. And the handling is not really flowing for me. Will this be better in 3V? Is it worth 64€? I already bought falcon days ago and i invest all my time to lern about his capabilities. So i got the suspicion, that i would only use the presets. Maybe a little modulation. But is this worth 64€
Thanks for your opinions

I own magma (since a long time now) and use it just like an Amp sim would be a huge loss , yeah it include amp sim but when you want to make something simply and quickly , it is the best. The multi LFO are just a very good thing , you can modulate any parameter ,even the 3dr party plugin...It's tempting both P&M VIP and Magma, but as I am already using Pod Farm 2 and Guitar Rig, I should have enough as it is.
I paid it full price and never regret it since.

It was worth it for me when I caved in last year, it's a unique synth and is a very nice upgrade, but on the browser front it's still pretty frustrating for me. However I don't really use presets that much so not a big deal for me. I'd say get the demo and spend an hour with it to see if it's for you
That's a great price! I do still like 2.v though it has it's own charm too.
