Is the 2.0.1 upgrade necessary to install Komplete 10 and Komplete Kontrol?
Have the latest update, 1.9.20111221 in Receptor 2 Komplete Inside.
Ordering the Kontrol S88 and Komplete 10 and would like to avoid unnecessary duplication and extra expense. Thanks.

Hi
komplete 10 will not work on Receptor but it is apparently being "looked at"whatever that means.
And as far as I known neither does komplete control as it requires drivers that are not available for the receptor.
According to legend komplete 9 can be installed on the latest models of the receptor ,qu4ttro vip trio etc with v 2.software without a problem.
There are posts concerning this and Muse have uploaded instruction vids.But be warned if you own an older receptor even if you have upgraded to 2.0.1 Quite a few people including myself have had problems doing the upgrade due to the absence of a function dialog called "install as windows 7" that can be found in the plugin install GUI in Rack mode if you have it.
Judging by the posts here though The clever guys at Muse are able to help at least some people iwith komplete 9 if you contact them by opening a ticket.
