Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Well, in some consciously (or not) way, I sort of behaved as per your perspective murnau ... until at a course we stepped into a Jungian classic test, that basically separated all of us participants into two axis, rendering four main categories to box us in.murnau wrote:This only work for idiots obviously.Soundplex wrote:The world needs crazy people who makes us laugh. It gave us some nice surprises, like when the facilitator mentioned that several of the respondents that fall into that 3rd category, were actually not belonging there because instead of being analytical or reflexive, they are more sensitive and intuitive; classical politicians and thus they typically lie when answering these tests. We all laughed identifying the course president
///The real lesson was that right at our class blackboard I could see -for first time- a coherent theoretical explanation (if not demonstrative enough) showing me the fact that there are several relevant intelligences.
Now, several decades later, most psychology branches have converged enough to accept and apply this notion in most children and even job tests, and keeps vineing.
This being ubiquitous nowadays leads me to sense that "This only work for idiots obviously" is a manner of speech, a laugh to the rather complex life that returns us to a human place even if we made looong advances in science/development or whatever "intelligent endeavor".
So, as usual -if I may-, this my link here for those too sided, this time on Mars, Jupiter & Saturn

It's actually quite simple: I just don't like if someone come over in an arrogant way. Who he think he is? Patronizing to other people he know nothing about? Reduce their pure existence to be only worth that he feel better? Must be an idiot.

Idiot, arrogant, whatever. Just words. It's okay for me.
Knowing him and hearing him saying he will revolutionize mixing sounds to me like: they all mix their songs with a stick and a stone, sitting in a cave. It is not just disrespecting to ALL musicians but also to ALL other devs (which do a better job in many cases than he at all!). And this was not the first time!
All I read from Vojtech is "we have to most versatile and powerful plugins" but "can't be done because of technical reasons", "other devs can't get it to work" or "they code shitty software", "not my fault but the hosts one", "revolutionize this or that" but nothing ever happened. Don't you think he is the one who's arrogant? Don't you think that he is the one who lives in a surreal world? Right! And I wrote nothing else than this a shorter way in my post...
Assuming you're one of the "fanboys suffering from tunnel vision" I totally understand your reaction. And just to clarify: I wouldn't laugh about him if he wouldn't have THIIIIIIIS big mouth with no actions followed. What goes around comes around.

Oh yes, I too agree that (each perspective) arrogance over the others, might be a problem.murnau wrote:It's actually quite simple: I just don't like if someone come over in an arrogant way. Also, acknowledging that this "overview" might also be time-arrogant, in that there might -very well- be a need for certain perspective(s) to take lead... iex. for humor to exist, or camaradery, that is.
(Sorry if the above post spoiled the fun

@Soundplex
You sure have your take on Vojtech words... and express them at a forum, where plenty of happy Vojtech's results users meet, that wouldn't have existed if he did not bring something relevant to the table.
I am not sure many devs would take those questioned words the same as you express here, mainly because most of them have had to deal with their own different and difficult creative and entrepreneuring walls, and hence, have to develop some aversive strategy, be it having to turn deaf ears to naysayers, or too concentrated to socialize, develop market or whatever way that allowed them to reasonably gather energy and come out with what they envisioned.
And that is the main point, I guess, what is Vojtech envisioning when he talks about new way of mixing. His words will be compared with what he comes out with.
You may feel that MXXX or his Kernel centered multiple plugins development, or the sound quality of them... are not enough proof of his past achievements, many of us here do. And yes, since Voltaire, an increasing number of people in this planet agree that we all are entitled to our diverging but respectful opinions.
