hey snowflake,
i'm sorry you have trouble following my posts and believe I have to use vista in order to find fault in his lack-of-demo-lack-of-money-back-guarantee policy. but let me explain it for you - issues like this, a single beta tester for the platform, only serve to highlight the flaws in his current policy and that is something I decided to point out.

I guess you find this difficult to comprehend because you are so accustomed to self-service, hmm ?

Tempo-synced LFOs only work when they receive Midi-clock, so when programming those, one always has to press play in the DAW which is annoying. Can this be changed pretty please?
i will add that to the feature requests list.

I think you said earlier you don't have any concrete plans yet, but a Phonem sound pack (or preferably a subscription) would be a no brainer for me.

I am still arguing with myself, but it seems inevitable now. My only real gripe is, that the internal effects are so off-putting/basic/not inspiring, that I can't really deliver finalized patches that sound to my total liking, but I am thinking of also providing effect chains in DAWs like Logic/Cubase to go with some of the presets.
Also I am still fighting with the internal preset system, I can't estimate how much work I lost because I did not follow all the required steps needed before actually starting to program a patch, but I have collected a lot of useful material already, so stay tuned for some news.

Does it still not have a collect and save function?

No, it's the same system from the initial release, and I believe Wolfgang will keep it that way.

Feature request:

Please give us the option to modulate LFO depth, vibrato depth, envelope depth an so forth. As it is now, e.g. vibrato is either on or off, as I can't assign e.g. the modulation wheel to vibrato depth (only to pitchmod via growl int he matrix). Of course I can assign things directly in the matrix but that's of course not enough. Assigning e.g. LFO depth to one of the x/y-pads would be an essential feature.

Unless I have been totally missing something...

One more comment on the current saving-system before I shut up:
When you have created a new preset from scratch and have not selected an active sound bank on the left hand side of the browser beforehand (to save into - in combination with target bank on the right side), you are bound to loose your work because as soon as you select an active sound bank the current preset will get overwritten by whatever is the first preset in that selected bank. Arggggghhhh...

99% of your problems are AU and Logic related.
on VST hosts you do not have these problems !

Quite a few people use AU and, believe it or not, Logic. ;-)

If it were easy, anybody could do it!

LOL, in that case you should not release AU-versions of your plugins or get a few AU-users into your Beta-team. Sorry Wolfgang, but partial ignorance is not a good adviser in this case. :tu:

Why would save work better in VST hosts given that it for Phonem, this is a function of the plugin, not the host?
