here's small bug-report...
bypass button causes gui slowdown:
engaging nova's bypass button introduces heavy fps-drops on everything that's drawn by the daw (meters, other guis, etc.)
gets worse depending on how many other plugin guis are visible. also varies with different analyzer settings in nova.
my system: reaper/win7/nova(free) all 64bit

go necro!
hey i'm wondering what the differences are in the GE version, i can't find a detailed comparison anywhere. There's a sale on at plugin fox for US$25... I really like Nova, but it uses a fair bit of juice. I generally just use Venomode DeeQ.
Any user recommendations? I've also been interested in the Surfer EQ, but even an upgrade from my free boogie edition is $150!! Any other suggestions? Is the Soothe plugin that people seem to bang on about in the same category? I like the idea of 'smart bands' rather than the Nova which is static.

Here's a review on the GE version wich mentions it's features compared to the free version (note that the free version can expand too but this guy didn't notice that): https://www.gearslutz.com/board/reviews ... 2-0-a.htmlsqigls wrote: Sun May 03, 2020 1:51 pm go necro!

Also, a video on the Smart Operations by Dan Worral:

cheers
ok, 2 extra bands, independent controls for each band, adaptive Q setting...
for $25 it seems like it could be useful.

I'm testing Nova GE in demo mode.I have five dynamic filters and wide band going. No HP or LP filters.
I noticed a significant difference between Eco vs Precise mode.
Is there something else going on beside increased oversampling in Precise mode?
The jump to insane mode seems subtle but very drastic at Eco vs Precise.
