Have to agree, great sound and features but really unusable in any moderately CPU heavy session. It really needs to be optimised.aMUSEd wrote:The blue glow is far too bright. I would prefer to cpu optimisations/multicore support.

Plus further development of the sample editor (crossfade/alternate looping please, sfz-support) and the granular engine, both are extremely basic, useful but basic.aMUSEd wrote:The blue glow is far too bright. I would prefer to cpu optimisations/multicore support.

Never mind the complainers. The blue hue is excellent, as is the rest of the GUI. Nice work!

I also think the blue glow is too much (actually, I would prefer no glow at all, or if any, something really subtle). Besides, I don't like to have the right half of the GUI in a different colour either. Besides these two details, I love the new GUI.l If you could just give us the alternative to have the GUI in a single coulour with no glow, it would be perfect.aMUSEd wrote:The blue glow is far too bright. Thanks guys for your support and interest! Sorry for the "oversempling", for sure will be fixed
As well, we'll try to tweak GUI a bit. As for resizing, it's very complicated with the current engine implementation, but Diversion will be constantly improving, so eventually I hope to solve that question too. Really we need some neat way to maintain different GUI sizes. Have few ideas for sampling as well, later will come. Will be working on that. Thanks for suggestions

And thanks again, I hope YOU don't see me/us as complainers just as helpful suggestions to try and make it an even better product

I thought the plan was to have version 2 of Diversion with CPU optimization, or am I mixing up things now?

New GUI looks great - Diversion was already an attractive synth, now it's downright sexy!

This is timely. Only very recently, I was using Diversion and thinking " I do like this GUI theme, but it would benefit from more color.". Using Tantra made me think that was where it should be heading. Boom! Here it is. I'd be fine with even a few more little touches of vibrant colors.
I do, however, agree that optimization and nicely-spread multi-core utilization would be a great step.
Thanks for the good work Dmitry. You are on a roll.
