Probably a stupid question but....

if I have Zebra HZ, do I even need Zebra 2 anymore? Like can I just delete the plugin from my plugins folder? I understand that Zebra HZ is essentially Zebra 2 with Diva's filters. I'm going through my plugins folder and deleting plugins which I feel are redundant.. :?:

I don't have Zebra HZ, but if it's a separate .dll you should be fine. Instead of deleting Zebra just move it to the desktop and try HZ. If it's working they you don't need the other, if it's not working just move it back.

Just tried that, and everything is in working order :) Instead of deleting Zebra 2, I've placed it in a special 'Unused Plugins' folder that I made. Thanks for answering my stupid question!

Probably not a big deal, though typically Zebra 2 will receive updates before Zebra HZ. I don't see an advantage of deleting Zebra 2 unless you have zillions of plug-ins. Maybe others have words of wisdom.

The question isn't stupid rather make quite sense. There's no need to have Zebra installed if you have ZebraHZ since all soundsets for Zebra sounds indentical in ZebraHZ but not vice versa.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

Isn't Zebra HZ more CPU heavy? This would be a good reason to keep both.

No, not necessarily. HZ contains some extra filters (and compressors) which are heavier (Diva filters). But if you won't use them, performance and CPU usage is quite the same.

Yup, you are right. I've found that only a select few HZ patches are CPU heavy, thankfully. :tu:
