Having a problem setting up MMultibandharmonizer in Sonar.

According to the PDF file:

1) Set up the audio track
2) Create a new MIDI track and in the 'MIDI to' menu, choose the audio track that has the plugin on it.

I can set up the midi track to accept my keyboard as input, but for the life of me, I can't figure out how to output to either the audio track, or to the MMultibandharmonizer.

Any help would be appreciated, as Melda for some reason isn't accepting support contact right now.

Thx jegan

I'll try to help.
Firstly you can't output the midi track to the audio track itself. It is only possible to output the midi to something that can receive a midi input, in this case the plugin.
Have you managed to find the midi output in your midi track? In Sonar it can be hidden sometimes depending on how you have it set up. You can access this option from the top of the tracks, it is like a show/hide type thing.
It's been years since I used Sonar sorry.

You probably need to enable midi input in the VST preset options section of the plugin window.
Then the midi track will have it available as an output option...

Thanks to both of your replies. I've used Cubase, Reaper, Magix, and now Sonar. Sonar operates a bit differently and after ripping my hair out, I accidentally stumbled on how to direct midi to a VST effect. In essence, you click on the VST and assign it as an instrument..... Goooooo figure! And yes I was able to control MMultibandharmonizer in real time using my midi keyboard. (And after digging around some more, I found you can go to the Plugin Manager, click on the VST and open up the same dialog to do the same.)

So thanks again! Really appreciate the fast replies!
