For the quick fix basic analogue mono VA there is already Basic by Audio Damage, so I fail to get over excited about this one

And that got 3xOSC for the same price

Yeah but how many softsynths have the Steiner Parker filter?

I found AD Basic pretty boring tbh - preferred the Reaktor ensemble Bassic that had a similar idea - at least that has a good filter.

None

But I guess you mean attempts at emulating that in a soft synth?

Virtual Instrument Audio Plugin.
Never heard of that one, but it crashes FLStudio 10, 11 and 12 (Win7) here on loading.
Perhaps it's a plugin that works in a particular environment, but I'm not sure which.

What I realize is that Audio Damage is based in Boulder CO

Not that far from SLC and the SteinerParker workshop

Regardless. It's definitely ballsy and dirty, just the way I like 'em ;)
I have tons of fun with this thing, great for knob tweaking. Yes, it's quirky, but it makes me smile.

@itoa, is this an intro price or is this fixed? Thanks!

This is the second time in a short while I've seen that term

AAS Ultra Analog Session v2: a "Hard sync analog synthesizer"

What does that mean actually, and how does it affect the sound ?

Assuming you're referring to Dagger? Can't get it to load on FL11, or 12 either. Works fine on my other programs. Contacted BleepStreet about it just now. Not a huge deal though as it isn't completely defective.

So not really a good thing?:

"This form of oscillator sync is more common than soft sync, but is prone to generating aliasing in native digital implementations."

Fixed - 1 voice should be cheap :)

That's like asking if PWM is a good thing or a bad thing. It's a sound design tool, not a type of oscillator.

It's most popular (over)use is making "waauuw" noises.

Was interested until the reports of it crashing FL Studio.

Kontakt is giving me enough headaches at the moment and I don't need more!

Did you see that I refered to the quote from Wikipedia, about being prone to generating aliasing?

That was what I meant about: not a good thing
