Where do you put the 5 extacted Mdrummer RAR files & do you merge them?

I've downloaded Mdrummer Large and installed it (it shows in my DAW) , and have downloaded the 6 drum RAR files. But I can't access any drum styles, patterns etc.

I've unzipped the 6 RAR files and am not sure where they belong, or if even they should be merged.

I did try placing them in the C:\ProgramData\MeldaProduction\MDrummer Large folder and have attempted to point the config program to that folder, but I keep getting an error message "This Folder Contains No Factory Data"... Whatever that means. I get this message even if I drill down to a specific drum effect.

When I try to merge the 6 parts into one folder I get a message advising that there are duplicate files.

It would be nice if this information was in the setup PDF or on the download webpage.

When I try to merge the 6 parts into one folder I get a message advising that there are duplicate files.

You could try only extracting part1, and see if the duplicate message stops.

Then it says "MDrummer will then probably ask you to specify, where the data library is." so i would try to run it after you have extracted it where you want it.

If you needed to extract each archive separately, then your rar extractor doesn't work really . Try WinRAR, it will extract all of them in one go into a single directory, where you place it is up to you .

Thanks for all the replies. I did finally get it to work by making a new directory and copying the 6 extracted folders there. Apparently you don't merge the folders. Not sure why this didn't work in the MDrummer Large Folder. Go figure.
