MADEq + m4a analysis

...is there a way to use m4a for eq curve analysis? The majority of material in my iTunes folder is in m4a format...

That's not really a melda question, that's more of a sound editor/DAW question. According to your sig, you're using reaper, just drag the reference into Reaper. You can save the analysis so you only need to do the analysis once.

hey VW, the options in MADeq don't allow selecting anything .m4a, but as you suggested I can drag the audio into the DAW (lpx in this case) and the conversion is made a/ok...however, in this case I was wanted to "audition" a number of external reference tracks, save the profile, and then compare, all without having to go through the import/track assignment/delete sequence.../s~

I'm afraid m4a isn't supported. I asked apple for support about this and the results are horryfying as usual... So we'll see, maybe some day.
